I am a young stylist originating from the East of Belgium, who located his premises in Düsseldorf, and already have several collections in my name.
I love the artistic aspect of fashion.
I believe that fashion communicates emotions. My view on life I would describe as eclectic, inquisitive and incisive. By transforming forms and materials, I aim to dress the world according to my own laws, and transfer art, passion and creativity into my clothing.
Only fashion can tell a story,
otherwise it´s just a piece of clothing!
Our products are all made in our studios in Düsseldorf and Belgium.
We put emphasis on quality and ecological materials.
All designs are handmade and best tailored.
MADE IN EAST BELGIUM AND GERMANY
My logo symbolizes togetherness and unity. The different components of the logo are braided together to combine nature, animals and ecology.
I try to reflect my passion, believes and utopian vision of a better world in everything that I do - from my logo to my work.
ABOUT MY LOGO
ABOUT MY MATERIALS
All my materials are ecologically friendly. I use only Bio Wool, Organic Cotton, Bio silk, cashmere . leather and alpaca.
The leather is sourced directly from the Hunting Association East Belgium (Jagdverband Ostbelgien), meaning that the animals suffer the least possible. I do not source from farms or intensive farms.
Philippe Thomas Design has already been featured in various newspapers and has presented its collection in various fashion shows. Some recent events include: "Utopians" in the "Theater of Dreams" (Theater der Träume) in Düsseldorf, "Temptation" in the GutEidt (Wallerode, Belgium) and "A day at Karl Hugo" at the firm Karl Hugo (also in Belgium).
ABOUT HIGH FENS
The materials used in my products are sourced in Belgium, in an area known as "High Fens" (Hohes Venn Eifel). During the 1950's, the area was declared a nature reserve a plateau and lies in the east Belgium province of Liège - a region bordering Germany, between the Ardennes and the Eifel highlands.
The animals hunted by the East Belgium Hunting Association reside in this nature reserve. I thereby ensure that none of the leathers used in my products come from animals that are held in captivity.
